My name is Stacy and I'm a 27 year old, Cuban/Dominican/Scottish American! I'm married to an amazing husband that supports me through all my craziness! And am the luckiest girl ever to have my three beautiful children, Madison (4), Christian (3), and Noah (1), YES I have my hands full, but love every minute of it! My husband and I are Behavior Assistants, trying to become Certified Behavioral therapists, our hope is to one day own our own agency ( homeless shelter, clinic, Transitional housing, something to that affect, lol) . We now work with children and adults who have Autism and other Developmental Disabilities. Basically we have a heart for helping others! Welcome to "my" little thing called happiness!

Some Highlights-Good Times

Originally I wanted to post at the end of the month, a few highlights and things that have gone on with our fam, Here is one I never posted........

So we started our year off right, ringing in the New Year with family! It was fun times!

Happy New Year!!

Paul and I have this amazing feeling that 2011 is OUR year! So we actually made out some goals and aspirations  for this year! We know that God has blessed us with so many opportunities and gifts, and this will be our year to SHINE!

So far we have not been disappointed......

January was an eventful and fun month:

The first week of January the family went to the Barnum and Bailey Circus together for the first time, courtesy of Grammy, as a Christmas gift! Paul and I had not been to the circus since we were dating ( about 8 years ago)!

The kids had a blast, their faces lit up, after each stunt or amazing trick!

Paul's having a blast, huh! LOL

And the best part for mom and dad.....

The kids were beat, and knocked out in the car ride home! :)

Later in January, I was approached by a friend who recently started her own company and needed a Behavior Assistant for a client, I knew I had wanted to start getting my hours to become a Certified Behavior Analyst, but it would have to be worth my while, to lose my vacation, and benefits! After some contemplating, I was offered another client out of the blue from another person. This meant I could afford to take the plunge. Everything seemed to fall into place! SO on January 11th, I DID it. I gave my resignation! What an amazing feeling, of accomplishment! I feel like it is a HUGE move Forward! Like I said, 2011, will and has been amazing!!!

And then comes February....

So, I began training, and February 1st was my last "official" day of FULL TIME salaried work! I was now on my own, and Independent contractor! I'm helping out though and doing a few hours a week, until they find my replacement. I love working with the kids hands on, working with parents was great but NOT what I wanted to do forever! My kids are great, they keep me on my toes, but I've always liked to learn under the most challenging of situations first!

So after starting the next chapter in my life things have been so exciting and constantly changing.....

February was also my little brother Jonathan's 18th Birthday, and we celebrated at the Cheesecake Factory, YUM!

And of course FEBRUARY we got our beloved MAC BOOK!!! Enough said......

At the end of February, to celebrate our new changes, we rented a hotel room in South Beach at the Whitelaw hotel, and invited some close friends and fam!! Let's say it was a much needed good time! We had an amazing night, that continued on into the next day. We will never be able to recreate that night for sure...
